During Dementia Awareness Week in May, Roy Quinton Funeral Directors in Bushbury dedicated their window to display banners from the Alzheimer’s Society and engage with their local community.
Funeral Arranger Debbie Ralph got involved with the charity’s ‘United Against Dementia’ campaign and gave out information leaflets, stickers and balloons – which were free from the Alzheimer’s Society website. She said “It is really important to inform people about dementia and where they can find help before and after diagnosis.
“We received some good feedback from people in the area, many of which know of someone suffering with this condition.”
