Roy Quinton founded Roy Quinton Funeral Directors in 1992, where Roy’s son Scott later joined him, after gaining local experience in the profession at Wednesfield.
Over the years Roy Quinton’s has flourished, gaining recognition across the Walsall area and expanding to branches at Bushbury and Tettenhall Wood, Wolverhampton.
The teams at our Tettenhall Wood, Bushbury and Leamore funeral homes will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one. We have our own on-site service venue.
Here at Roy Quinton Funeral Directors we also offer a prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance.

Funeral Arranger
Wendy has been with Roy Quinton Funeral Directors since 2010, having previously worked as a lead cashier at Barclays Bank.
She says “It is a very rewarding job and I feel privileged to support families through their bereavement journeys.”
She has two diplomas, one in customer services and one in information technology.
Wendy enjoys swimming and spending time with her family.
She is currently completing in her third charity swimathon and has so far raised money for Cancer Research UK, Marie Curie and Breast Cancer.
Funeral Director and Embalmer
Scott started working in the funeral industry in his school holidays at the age of 13.
After leaving school, he joined one of the larger funeral groups and gained a wide range of experience whilst working all over the Midlands. He then left to work at the Royal Newcross Hospitals and Wednesfield Mortuaries.
His father started Roy Quinton Funeral Directors and during this time he worked for him in his holidays and out of hours. Scott then returned to the family business to help his father Roy full-time. He is a qualified embalmer and has experience in almost all aspects of the funeral industry.
He says “Nothing in this job surprises me anymore and the change over the years from when I first started is vast with the way people celebrate the life of a loved one. Over the years, I have made many good friends in my job, from the people I work with and the people that I have helped through this time in need. I would like to think that I look after people’s family as if they were one of my own.”
In Scott’s spare time, he enjoys being with family in the country side and riding his motorbike.
Funeral Manager
Over recent years, it has been my privilege to oversee the funeral arrangements and conduct the funerals for many families. Families return to us time and time again and from our first meeting we build a bond that forms lasting friendships and extends our family.
Proudest Moment
Being entrusted by the previous owners Ken Burgess & Peter Harper to conduct my first funeral and having the confidence in me to respect and continue the level of personal care that the Burgess & Harper family founded the business on. With Funeral Partners I am able to continue and enhance our original traditions.
Personal Interests
I love all sports, especially rugby, which I used to play in my younger days, now I confine myself to being a spectator.
Funeral Arranger
My role as a funeral arranger every day is different, it can be very busy. I get to meet all sorts of people – doctors , registrars, ministers and I talk to lots of people on the telephone.
It is a very rewarding job and the day always seems to go very quickly.
The most satisfying thing is when we get cards from families as a thank you. Then you know that you have done a good job.
Proudest Moment
Being able to look after my mother in law when she suddenly passed, I did all her hair and make-up and also arranged all the funeral.
Personal Interests
As a mum, I always keep busy with family time holidays trips but I do manage some me time and I travel with friends.
